Volvo Construction Equipment has long been committed to serving the needs of the construction industry. In 2008, they purchased the Ingersoll Rand compaction line of equipment for soil and asphalt. Volvo also purchased the asphalt milling business form IR and in 2009 introduced two new models of milling machines to the market They also purchased from IR the asphalt paving products, formerly Blaw Knox. Volvo calls all of these former IR products it's Road Machinery construction equipment. Volvo is committed to growing it's involvement in the compaction and paving business. They have poured money into the research and manufacturing facilities for these products. This investment will insure reliable industry leading products as well as customer support second to none.

Volvo rollers are available in many different configurations for the best selection to meet job requirements. These compactors offer performance and reliability as well as the ideal combination of weight, drum width, frequency, centrifugal force and amplitude that is essential in efficient compaction. RMS took on the IR compaction line in 1986.

Volvo asphalt pavers continue to carry on the proud tradition established by Blaw Knox. RMS took on the Blaw Knox line in 1959 and has worked hard for the last half century to be a partner in the paving industry.
