Parts Runner/Shop Assistant – Duluth, MN
(Summer  –  Full-Time Temporary)

RMS is seeking a dependable employee to fill its Parts Runner/Shop Assistant position at our Duluth, MN location. This position is a Summer Temporary Full Time position with no employee benefits offered. Hours will be a minimum of forty per week, Monday through Friday. We are looking for enthusiastic, dependable, and hard- working individuals that possess excellent skills in Customer Service, organization, and communication.

Essential functions of the Parts Runner/Shop Assistant position include:
Running parts from warehouse and/or vendors to job sites. Loading and unloading deliveries, pulling parts to fill orders, running shop and office errands, organization, upkeep and cleaning of the yard and facility shop. Additional duties will be inspecting and cleaning Rental Machines as they are returned, and preparing them for future rental business. This position will require driving a company vehicle, so qualified candidates must be insurable.

Resident Field Service Technician – Rochester, MN

RMS is seeking an experienced Construction or Ag Field Service Technician to reside and perform service duties within close proximity of the Rochester area. In this position, you will be equipped with a field service truck. This position will work in conjunction with our Savage, MN facility and will report to the Savage Service Manager.

The ideal candidate will have five (5) years’ experience as a Field Service Technician for an OEM heavy equipment distributor. This position requires exceptional skills in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and repair of heavy construction equipment. RMS desires employees that can build and maintain solid customer relationships, are self-directed, and can demonstrate safe working habits. A strong work ethic along with the ability to work outside in the elements are also required.

In this role, you will be the service repair contact of RMS for the customers you serve in your geographic area, but may also be dispatched to other geographic areas as needed. You will be responsible for a high standard of quick response time to customers and will be required to have a high sense of urgency in prioritizing customer repairs.

You must possess a CDL driver’s license with a clean driving record, the ability to pass a drug test and fitness for duty physical. Driver, Rentals Division – Savage, MN

RMS is looking to fill a Commercial Driver position for its rentals location in Savage, MN. This position requires driving trailered construction equipment to and from job sites, along with loading and unloading. Qualified individuals must have a valid class A license, two years commercial driving experience, and a clean driving record. Hydraulic Machinist – Savage, MN

RMS Hydraulic Services, a division of Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is seeking candidates who have experienced skills in machining and fabricating (welding is a plus, but not needed). Strong math and measurement skills are desired, and will help you succeed in this position. The ability to identify material and sizes, cutting stock from inventory, and recording the material used, are part of daily activities. Technical trade school and three (3) years’ experience in hydraulics and electrical circuit troubleshooting are preferred. Small engine and light repair working knowledge is necessary, preferably on JLG Equipment, as well as experience repairing off road fork and boom lifts. Possession of basic tools is strongly recommended. RMS is looking for an energetic Outside Sales Representative to build and maintain customer relationships that will result in equipment sales that achieve company expectations. The territories represented consist of 21(twenty-one) counties across South Central and Southeast Iowa, along with 2(two) counties in Illinois. This position will office from your residence. Therefore, qualified candidates should reside in the Southeast Iowa area. Successful candidates will have at least three years of experience selling capital goods, and the entrepreneurial spirit to self-manage the territory assigned to achieve goals. Resident Field Service Technician – Nebraska

Our continued growth has created the opportunity for our Southern division to add a Resident Field Service Technician for the state of Nebraska. We are seeking an experienced Construction or Ag Field Service Technician to reside within the Omaha, Nebraska area. In this position, you will work within a close proximity of your residential area and will be equipped with a field service truck. You will be responsible for supporting the quarries in Southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa as well as covering the entire state in support of Asphalt Paving Crews.
